How we rank clinics

Clinics in each list are ordered by points. Points come only from the criteria on this page, applied equally to every clinic. No clinic can pay to move up the ranking.

If a clinic has several locations, each location appears in its own area and is scored separately on its own details.

Criteria

• Verified details (30 points): we have checked the listing against a public source, linked on every clinic page.
• Health registry number published (20 points): we know the clinic's registration number in the Andalusian registry of healthcare centres (NICA).
• Complete contact details (5 points each): address, phone, email and website.
• Opening hours published (10 points).
• Languages spoken (5 points for each language besides Spanish, up to10).
• Specialities (1 point for each treatment offered, up to10).

Clinics with the same points are listed alphabetically.

What we don't take into account

• Payments of any kind.
• Patient reviews or ratings.
• Prices.
• Insurance accepted, emergencies or accessibility: they are shown and can be filtered, but add no points.

Positions are not a judgement of clinical quality: they show how much verified information we have about each clinic.

Sponsored listings

In the future some clinics may buy advertising space. Those spaces will always carry the visible label“Sponsored”, will be shown apart from the ranking and will not change any clinic's position in it.

Correcting details

If something is wrong or missing, the clinic can ask us to change it through “Is this your clinic?”.
